Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mishko Tolstiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joelmir Subzero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mishko Tolstiy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joelmir Subzero!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tolstiy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Subzero on his heels. He'll look to pass Subzero's guard now, I'm sure.
Tolstiy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Subzero avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Subzero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tolstiy is one step ahead there.
Tolstiy wants to stand but Subzero has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Tolstiy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Tolstiy stands and steps away. Subzero gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Tolstiy stuffs the takedown attempt from Subzero. Subzero gets slowly back to his feet.
Subzero throws a head kick that misses.
Tolstiy shoots in for a takedown but Subzero shows good takedown defense.

Subzero is working Tolstiy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Tolstiy tries to strike from the bottom.
Subzero tries to free his leg and advance position but Tolstiy is retaining full guard.
Tolstiy wants to stand and escape but Subzero is having none of it.
Subzero is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tolstiy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Subzero controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Joelmir Subzero has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Subzero swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Subzero blocks a head kick by Tolstiy.
Subzero looks to clinch
and Tolstiy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Tolstiy doesn't manage to clinch there - Subzero circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Subzero tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Tolstiy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tolstiy is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tolstiy breaks the clinch.
Tolstiy fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mishko Tolstiy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Subzero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tolstiy was covering up waiting for the punch and Subzero finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Subzero controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

It looks like Subzero might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Subzero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tolstiy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joelmir Subzero.
Tolstiy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tolstiy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Subzero wants to clinch.
Tolstiy tries to clinch there but Subzero circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tolstiy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Subzero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tolstiy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Subzero creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tolstiy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tolstiy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Subzero on the ground.
Tolstiy is looking to reverse the position.
Subzero trying to control the action but Tolstiy is working from the bottom.
Subzero tries to score with some ground and pound. Tolstiy controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Tolstiy can't do much from the bottom here.
Subzero looks up at the clock and then as Tolstiy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Subzero smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Subzero has an Americana. Tolstiy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Subzero is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Subzero hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
