The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Out misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Capel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Out closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Out lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Out controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Capel looking for a guillotine here but Out defends easily.
Out wants to pass the guard but Capel is keeping the position.
Capel wants to get back to his feet but Out is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Capel looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Out puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Out prevents Capel from improving his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Out tries to clinch up but Capel circles away and keeps his distance.
