The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackwing fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ross to the ground. Blackwing is now in Ross's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Blackwing pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ross is keeping the position for now.
Ross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Blackwing is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Blackwing sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ross's guard.
Blackwing wants to pass the guard but Ross is defending well.

Blackwing has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ross defend it? Blackwing steps over the head and cranks it - Ross is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Blackwing!
