Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Eugene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Torres struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Eugene.
Torres looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Eugene keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Torres takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Torres is rocked!
Torres drops his hands momentarily. Eugene doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Torres staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Torres doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
