Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Kelvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boto Pollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jorge Kelvin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boto Pollo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollo has a takedown stuffed.
Pollo misses with a lunging right hand
and Kelvin finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Pollo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kelvin to the ground. Pollo is now in Kelvin's guard.

Pollo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kelvin sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pollo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Pollo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Kelvin tries to hold on but Pollo postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pollo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kelvin is now in Pollo's guard. A big mistake from Pollo there, giving up the dominant position!

Pollo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kelvin's guard.

Kelvin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pollo is controlling him.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Boto Pollo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Pollo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kelvin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kelvin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pollo avoids it really well and circles away.
Kelvin dives in for a single leg takedown but Pollo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kelvin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pollo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jorge Kelvin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pollo in particular looking to stall.

Kelvin gets caught napping as Pollo dives in and scores a takedown. Kelvin manages to retain guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Boto Pollo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Pollo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kelvin is surviving well by controlling Pollo's body position as best he can.
Kelvin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Kelvin tries to lock up and control but Pollo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Pollo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kelvin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kelvin shrugs it off.

Boto Pollo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pollo is on top in guard.
Boto Pollo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I've got Pollo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
