Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Blane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by Downstait - This Is My Life. Blane has chosen Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer as his entrance music. Jonas Blane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blane throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Blane leaves Martin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Martin.
Blane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Martin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Blane looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Martin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blane avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martin looks for a takedown but Blane sprawls well.

It looks like Andrew Martin has been cut.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Martin. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Blane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Martin slips a jab and a cross from Blane.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Blane manages to break the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martin has a takedown stuffed.
Blane tries a head kick but it misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blane.

Blane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martin fails with a takedown attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A head kick misses from Blane.
Martin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blane's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Martin trying to control but Blane is working from the bottom.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Blane manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Blane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Martin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blane sprawls well. Blane wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
A combination from Martin does no damage.
Martin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oooh a lovely combination from Blane sends Martin down but not out. Blane dives into side control looking to finish.
Martin is rocked!
My spies in Allstars MMA inform me that Blane has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Martin is looking for a sweep.
Oh Martin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Blane decides to stand back up. Blane steps back and let's Martin get back to his feet.
Blane instigates a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blane gets underhooks to prevent Martin's takedown attempt.
Martin seems to have got his legs back now.
Blane creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Martin's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Martin drops to his knees and Blane pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonas Blane!
Jonas Blane was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
