Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rocky Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Force!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.

Johnson feints and as Force raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Force has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Johnson slips nicely into half guard.
Force tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
Johnson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Force is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.

Johnson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Force looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Force swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Force looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.

Force is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well.

Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
Force is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots.

Johnson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Force is looking to improve his position.
Force slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but Force is keeping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Force controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.
Force utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Force controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.
Johnson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Force pulls Johnson in close to prevent any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joe Force hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Force doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Force tries to clinch up.
Force tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.
Force swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.
Force changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Force manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Force shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Force was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson tries to buck Force off but Force is having none of it.
Force lands a nice forearm strike.

Force is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position.
Johnson throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Force working the ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Johnson tries to improve position but can't.
Force has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Johnson regains half guard.
Force lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Force working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Joe Force will probably get the nod.
That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Force enables Johnson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Force manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Johnson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Force looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Force looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Force!
Force lands a nice forearm strike.
Johnson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Force wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
Force gets to mount! Johnson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Force working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Force lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Johnson hang on?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Force drops a big elbow. That's hurt Johnson! More shots from Force and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Force!
Our winner, Joe Force, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
