Yoshifumi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Yoshifumi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. St Pierre stacks Yoshifumi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by St Pierre!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
St Pierre swings around for an armbar but Yoshifumi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into St Pierre's guard.

St Pierre jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Yoshifumi manages to avoid the submission attempt.

St Pierre has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Yoshifumi is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. St Pierre yanks on the arm and Yoshifumi is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by St Pierre.
