The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kayani tries to avoid it but Millard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kayani to the ground. Kayani escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kayani throws a hook to the side of Millard's head but Millard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Millard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kayani defends well and Millard ends up having to push Kayani into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Millard creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kayani creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
