Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Gannicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Stuus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Gannicus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanley Stuus!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuus misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gannicus throws a leg kick but Stuus checks it.
Stuus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stanley Stuus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gannicus throws a leg kick but Stuus sees it coming and moves out of range.
Gannicus fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Stuus is out of range.
Stuus cracks Gannicus with an open hand slap.
Gannicus is looking to chop away at Stuus's legs.
Stuus dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gannicus thuds his shin into the meat of Stuus's side.

Stuus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stuus takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stuus blocks the strikes from Gannicus.

Stuus missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Gannicus is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stuus scores with a couple of nice shots.
Gannicus wants to control but Stuus is keeping busy.
Stuus passes to full mount!
Gannicus wants to control but Stuus is having none of it.

Stuus lands with some strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stuus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Stuus goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gannicus turns into him and now he's in Stuus's guard.
Gannicus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gannicus trying to control but Stuus is working from the bottom.

Stuus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gannicus!
Stuus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gannicus wants to control but Stuus is having none of it.
Gannicus in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Gannicus throwing hammer fists to the chest of Stuus. What's that going to do exactly?
Stuus postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gannicus looks a forlorn figure.
Stuus jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gannicus manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Stuus cracks Gannicus with a big elbow.
Oh Gannicus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stuus cracks Gannicus with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Stuus immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Gannicus is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Stuus!
