Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ever looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ever is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Ever looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks ODonnelly with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
ODonnelly regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ever really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ODonnelly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

ODonnelly is looking for a triangle but Ever pushes his legs off easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

ODonnelly looking for a guillotine here but Ever defends easily.
Ever keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of ODonnelly's head.
Ever makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ever with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
ODonnelly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

ODonnelly looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ever landing with the ground and pound.
Ever lands a couple of digs.

ODonnelly is looking for a triangle but Ever pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ever is working ODonnelly over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

ODonnelly has his foot on Ever's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ever works his way back into a safe position though.
Ever working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

ODonnelly is rocked!

ODonnelly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ever defends well.
Oh ODonnelly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ever gets to his feet and stands over ODonnelly, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! ODonnelly felt that one! Ever unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save ODonnelly from any more punishment!
