The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wahl has closed the distance and engaged Montgomery in a clinch.
Wahl escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wahl changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Montgomery looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee asks Wahl politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wahl prefers to stall for the moment though.

Wahl knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Montgomery on the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
