Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Axl Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan ORourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horn comes to the cage accompanied by Bill Murray - by Sweatshop Union. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ORourke takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Horn loads up on a big right hand but ORourke slips the punch.
Horn tries a head kick but it misses.
Horn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horn throws a jab but it's blocked by ORourke.
Axl Horn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
ORourke catches Horn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Horn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from ORourke.
ORourke throws a nice inside leg kick.

ORourke gets tackled into the cage by Horn. Horn maintains the clinch.
Horn pushes off an throws an elbow but ORourke leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

ORourke is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Horn has denied him.
Horn blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Horn lands an uppercut.
Horn lands a hook that snaps the head of ORourke backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing reports that Horn has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Horn tries to clinch up but ORourke circles away and keeps his distance.
ORourke keeps Horn at a distance using the push kick.
ORourke fails in his attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Horn misses the target.
ORourke lands with a nice body punch.
ORourke moves in looking to clinch but Horn pushes him off.

and ORourke decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Horn's guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Horn wants to sweep but no luck.
Horn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for ORourke!
ORourke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Horn lands a big shot there that rocks ORourke but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Horn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as ORourke is looking to escape.
ORourke wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Horn.
ORourke wants to hold on but Horn pushes him away.

Horn fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Horn is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But ORourke has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from ORourke!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Horn is looking to sweep but instead, ORourke has passed into half guard.
ORourke prevents Horn from improving his position.
ORourke wants to pass to mount but Horn is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Horn tries to get to full guard but ORourke has control of the leg.

Horn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
ORourke is thwarting Horn's attempts to control the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

ORourke moves out of range as Horn strikes.
ORourke tries to clinch but Horn is having none of it.

ORourke connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Horn has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Horn throws a lazy right hand but ORourke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Horn misses with a kick to the body.
Horn gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Axl Horn has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

ORourke pushes Horn up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Horn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

ORourke throws a big uppercut that drops Horn! More strikes from ORourke and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Horn lies dazed against the cage as ORourke celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan ORourke! Ivan ORourke retains his featherweight title!
After winning the bout, Ivan ORourke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
