Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshi Zuko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zuko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wu Tang- Hellz Wind Staff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Max Ford has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kenshi Zuko!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ford throws a big shot that misses.
Zuko scores with the left hand. Ford knows he should have avoided that one.
Zuko scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ford throws a good cross that connects.
Zuko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ford moves away.
Ford takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ford pivots, looking for a leg kick but Zuko is out of range and Ford settles back down.
Zuko doesn't manage to clinch there - Ford circles away.
Zuko misses with a two punch combination.
Ford takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zuko checks a low kick from Ford.
Ford does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ford keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Zuko misses with a body punch

and Ford counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zuko's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ford wants to control from the top but Zuko keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Max Ford just wasn't active enough.
Zuko scores with a body shot.
Ford tried to score with a low kick but Zuko checks it.
Kenshi Zuko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zuko moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Zuko avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ford gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Zuko connects with a leg kick. Ford looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Zuko lands a really nice looking cross but Ford seems unphased.

and Zuko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Zuko working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zuko is in close to Ford's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Ford utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ford working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zuko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ford is tightening it up a little... Zuko has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Zuko reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Zuko taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ford!
