The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth shoots in and bounces Diesel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Diesel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Roth content to stall in guard here.
Roth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diesel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diesel keeping moving, preventing Roth from controlling successfully.
Diesel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Diesel has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
