Li's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dragon Punch!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Li, right into the meat.
Bon Peza moves in looking to clinch but Li pushes him off.
Li attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A shot to the liver by Li. Beautiful body shot.
Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Xiao Long Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Li has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bon Peza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been informed that Bon Peza has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Li, right into the meat.
Li throws a solid leg kick but Bon Peza takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Li.
Li connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Li drops his hands momentarily and Bon Peza takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Li lands a slapping body shot.
Li cracks Bon Peza with a good jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bon Peza looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bon Peza is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Bon Peza's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Li before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xiao Long Li!
A relieved looking Xiao Long Li thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
