The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connen shoots in and bounces Brudasek off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Connen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brudasek is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Connen is aware though and is defending well.
Connen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brudasek swivels though and keeps the full guard.
