The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ardona misses with a hook
and Michilov counters with a single leg into guard. Ardona didn't expect that.
Michilov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Michilov stops Ardona from standing up.
Michilov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ardona is keeping the position for now.
Michilov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Michilov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Michilov drops back looking for a leg! Ardona is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ardona manages to kick Michilov off! Michilov jumps back into Ardona's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Michilov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Michilov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Ardona screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Michilov! Nice submission victory there!
