Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between john mediano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, john mediano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
White tries to bum rush mediano with a series of wild strikes but mediano uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
White pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
White rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but mediano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
White looks to land a combination. mediano sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

mediano gets a clinch.

mediano tightens his grip and picks White up, before dumping him to the ground. White manages to land in guard.
mediano throws a big right hand that misses.

White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
mediano wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
mediano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

White has his foot on mediano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. mediano works his way back into a safe position though.
White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. mediano manages to get himself to full guard.
mediano is trying to keep White in close.

White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and mediano dives on top into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

mediano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

mediano thows a big elbow that misses.
mediano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as White works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

White has his foot on mediano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. mediano works his way back into a safe position though.
mediano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground.
mediano trying to control but White is working from the bottom.

White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White looks gassed!

White looking for submissions from the bottom but instead mediano passes into half guard.
mediano wants to free his trapped foot but White is holding on for dear life with his legs.
White is not content to let mediano control the position.

White moves into full guard.

White is looking for a triangle but mediano pushes his legs off easily.
mediano trying to control but White is working from the bottom.
White manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

White has hold of mediano's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and mediano manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
mediano prevents White from taking his back.

mediano has left one of his arms exposed and White doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. mediano screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
