The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rooney tries to close the distance and clinch up but Greko swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sloppy strikes from Rooney. Those never looked like landing.
Rooney lands a slapping body shot.
Greko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rooney looks to land a combination but Greko avoids it well.
Greko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Greko shoots in looking for a takedown. Rooney tries to sprawl out of it but Greko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rooney manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Greko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Greko shoots in but no luck this time.

Greko closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rooney quickly recovers to half guard.
Greko thows a huge punch but Rooney dodges it nicely.

Greko is trying for a kimura here. Rooney looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Greko wins by kimura!
