Leo Saldivar Iii told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saldivar Iii throws a combination. Buckley tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Phil Buckley has been cut.
Buckley fails to land with a series of punches.

Buckley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Saldivar Iii is trying to defend but Buckley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Buckley wants to stand up but Saldivar Iii has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Buckley takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Saldivar Iii throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Buckley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Saldivar Iii connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Buckley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saldivar Iii.
Oh Buckley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Buckley moves in looking to clinch but Saldivar Iii pushes him off.
