Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Got Money. Kent is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I'll be Back. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Kent!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman closes the distance and clinches up with Kent, looking for a takedown. Coleman pushes Kent against the cage but Kent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kent's waist but Kent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman off to one side.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kent as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A telegraphed right hand from Kent misses the target.
Kent scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kent swings for the body but Coleman moves out of range.

Coleman closes the distance and clinches up with Kent, looking for a takedown. Coleman pushes Kent against the cage but Kent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coleman shoots in and drives through. Kent sprawls well.
Kent stuns Coleman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kent as he avoids it easily.
Kent jabs Coleman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kent stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kent wants it to stay on the feet.
Coleman shoots in and drives through. Kent sprawls well.

Kent seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Peter Kent hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Kent shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kent fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coleman manages to avoid it.
Kent cracks Coleman with an open hand slap.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Coleman. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kent connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Coleman momentarily.

Coleman shoots for a takedown but Kent saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Coleman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kent counters with a right hand that sends Coleman tumbling to the canvas! Can Kent finish him? He dives into Coleman's guard looking to do just that!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Coleman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Coleman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Our spies down at at TOUGH DOJO-family dojo for best result inform us that Kent has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kent wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Kent is trying to keep Coleman in close.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Peter Kent wasn't active enough on the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Peter Kent dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Coleman dives in and grabs Kent's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kent pushes down on Coleman's head and hops out.

Kent drives through and clinches with Coleman against the cage.
Coleman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kent's elbow.
Coleman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kent fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kent cracks Coleman with an uppercut from hell and Coleman crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kent's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Coleman shoots in for a double leg but Kent sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kent fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Kent fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coleman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kent walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Coleman drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kent swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Coleman's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Kent!
After winning the bout, Peter Kent thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
