Rodrigues's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Better Off Alone. Fabregas has chosen We Fly High as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodrigues drives through and clinches with Fabregas against the cage.

Rodrigues lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Rodrigues closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rodrigues lands in his opponent's guard.
Rodrigues trying to control the position from guard on top but Fabregas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fabregas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rodrigues is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fabregas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rodrigues's back instead.
Well, with Fabregas on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Rodrigues is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Fabregas is looking for the choke from the back position but Rodrigues is controlling his hands well.

Fabregas is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rodrigues has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Fabregas is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rodrigues with him. Rodrigues is trying to defend but Fabregas has an arm under the chin now! Rodrigues grimaces and is forced to tap out!
