The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tung sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tung misses the jab.
Morrison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morrison closes the distance and clinches up with Tung, looking for a takedown. Morrison pushes Tung against the cage but Tung circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morrison uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tung.
Tung ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Morrison shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tung as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Horrible takedown by Morrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Tung which made him look bad.
Tung keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
John Morrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been informed that Tung has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Morrison takes one to the chin there.
Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Tung tries to sprawl out of it but Morrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Morrison closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tung did well to prevent Morrison getting side control.

Tung has hold of Morrison's hands but Morrison slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tung is looking for a sweep. Morrison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morrison seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tung is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
