The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson wants to clinch
letting Marciano Jr counter with a right hand.

It looks like Gene Anderson has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Marciano Jr as Anderson shoots in.
Anderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marciano Jr circles away quickly and effectively.

and Marciano Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marciano Jr as he jumps to the side.
Anderson is looking to clinch but Marciano Jr is avoiding it.
Marciano Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marciano Jr scores with a sloppy right hand. Anderson should have avoided that one.
Marciano Jr thuds his right hand into Anderson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Anderson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Marciano Jr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Anderson closes the distance and clinches up with Marciano Jr, looking for a takedown. Anderson pushes Marciano Jr against the cage but Marciano Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Frank Marciano Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gene Anderson.

Oooooh!!! Marciano Jr has knocked Anderson down with a huge combo! Marciano Jr steps away and waves a wobbly Anderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The cut above Gene Anderson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Anderson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marciano Jr.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheers as Marciano Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Anderson doesn't seem phased though.
Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marciano Jr can pounce on him.

Anderson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Marciano Jr looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Marciano Jr backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Anderson's temple! It sends Anderson violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Marciano Jr celebrates and the doctors try to help Anderson!
