The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Rapide with that takedown attempt.
MacOwan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rapide moves forwards but MacOwan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rapide pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts MacOwan, as that shot connected.
Rapide shoots for a takedown but MacOwan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wanderlei Rapide. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rapide looks to throw the jab but MacOwan is out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rapide is aggressively charging in as MacOwan backs up avoiding any damage. MacOwan tosses out a jab and Rapide runs right into it face first! Rapide is out cold! MacOwan dropped down on all fours and is barking in Rapide's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
