Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tad Ghostal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghostal has chosen Good King Wenceslas as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateus Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tad Ghostal!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen misses with a double jab.
Allen walks into a stiff left hand from Ghostal.
Ghostal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ghostal throws a good cross that connects.
Ghostal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ghostal connects with a nice looking jab.
Ghostal scores with a decent looking hook.
Ghostal lands with an overhand left.
Ghostal circles away from the clinch attempt.

Allen clinches.
Ghostal lands with a short shot to the head.
Allen lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ghostal.
Still in the clinch, Allen scores with a nice short uppercut.
Allen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ghostal has him pressed against the cage.

Allen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Allen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ghostal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Allen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Allen shoots in looking for a takedown but Ghostal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Allen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ghostal connects with a nice short shot to Allen's temple.

Well Ghostal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
