The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves keeps Cid at a distance using the push kick.

Graves lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cid circles away quickly and effectively.

Graves fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cid manages to avoid it.

Cid stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Graves counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Graves thows a left - swing and a miss!

Cid swats away the attempt to clinch by Graves.
Graves shoots in but Cid avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Graves looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Graves's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Graves swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cid creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cid throws out a leg kick but Graves moves out of range and Cid only half commits.

Cid lands a nice shot that snaps Graves's head back.
Cid does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Graves walks into a stiff left hand from Cid.
Cid moves away from the strike by Graves.

Graves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looks like Cid has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cid.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cid. Graves does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cid takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
