The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love throws a right hand that misses
and Skiter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A slow jab from Skiter misses its intended target.
Love lands with a straight right. Skiter didn't see that one coming.
Love darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We've been informed that Skiter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Love.
Love connects with a body shot that sends Skiter's belly button to the back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Skiter lands a nice looking body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Love. Skiter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Love slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Skiter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Love throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skiter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Love uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Love closes the distance and clinches up with Skiter, looking for a takedown. Love pushes Skiter against the cage but Skiter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Skiter throws a nice looking combination but Love bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Skiter slips under a jab from Love.
A punch combination from Skiter misses.
Nice defenses there by Love.
Love gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Love uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Skiter.
Skiter swings for the body but Love moves out of range.

Oooooh!!! Skiter has knocked Love down with a huge combo! Skiter steps away and waves a wobbly Love back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Skiter throws an uppercut from hell that sends Love clean off his feet! He's out cold! Skiter stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
