The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dixon lands a big head kick that sends Montgomery tumbling to the mat! Dixon takes a step backwards and waves Montgomery back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dixon has closed the distance and engaged Montgomery in a clinch.
Montgomery is still on wobbly legs! Can Dixon finish him?

Dixon has hold of one of Montgomery's legs. Montgomery is fighting the takedown attempt but Dixon gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Montgomery is looking to sweep but instead, Dixon has passed into half guard.

Dixon stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Montgomery to get to his feet.
We've been hearing reports that Dixon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Montgomery gets caught napping as Dixon dives in and scores a takedown. Montgomery manages to retain guard.
Dixon's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Montgomery really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dixon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dixon arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Montgomery's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
