Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francois Dubonet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes closes the distance and clinches up with Dubonet, looking for a takedown. Hayes pushes Dubonet against the cage but Dubonet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dubonet throws a sloppy head kick and Hayes moves out of range easily.
Dubonet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dubonet scores with a kick to the midsection.
Hayes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dubonet throws a head kick that misses.
Hayes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hayes there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hayes shoots for a takedown but Dubonet saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Francois Dubonet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Hayes.
Dubonet is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hayes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dubonet swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hayes swats away the attempt to clinch by Dubonet.
Dubonet doesn't manage to clinch there - Hayes circles away.

Dubonet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hayes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dubonet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Dubonet lands with a slapping head kick.
Dubonet tries to bum rush Hayes with a series of wild strikes but Hayes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hayes had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dubonet is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hayes Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dubonet's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hayes goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Dubonet escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Hayes throwing strikes here but Dubonet is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
