Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Sly Randolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 12 - 2, fighting out of London, Domingo Perez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez connects with a leg kick. Randolph looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jab, jab by Randolph - just one landing.
Randolph lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Randolph looks for the body kick but Perez saw that one coming.
A punch lands to the side of Randolph 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Randolph misses with a low kick.
That kick from Randolph tenderised Perez's leg. Perez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Randolph lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Perez thuds his right hand into Randolph's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Randolph uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perez.
Perez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Randolph swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sly Randolph seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Perez throws a body punch but Randolph moves out of range.
Randolph scores with a sloppy right hand. Perez should have avoided that one.
Randolph throws a leg kick but Perez moved away.
Randolph throws a hook but Perez avoids it easily.

Randolph throws a hook to the side of Perez's head but Perez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Perez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Randolph feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Perez's calf.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Randolph crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Perez - the referee stops the clock and Randolph gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Perez. Randolph manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Perez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Perez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Randolph takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Perez tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Randolph throws a low kick but Perez moves out of range easily.
Perez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Randolph misses with a leg kick.
Perez missing with a left hand there. Randolph was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Randolph misses with a low kick as Perez jumps back.
Perez lands a glancing blow to the side of Randolph's head.
Randolph tries to score with a low kick but Perez moves his leg out of the way.
Perez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Perez on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Perez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Perez.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Perez wants to control from the top but Randolph keeps moving.

Perez sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Randolph doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Perez paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Randolph - great work!

An out of breath Sly Randolph thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
