Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Dave Dickinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dickinson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Harvester of Sorrow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Takamura is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Takamura counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Dickinson on his ass! Dickinson wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

and before Dickinson can reset, Takamura rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Dickinson is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dickinson closes the distance but Takamura moves to the side
and as Dickinson looks to reset his feet, Takamura counters with a string of precision punches, right on the button, sending Dickinson crashing to the canvas! Dickinson is in big trouble here! The referee has started the count but Dickinson is so wobbly that the ref has given up the count at 6 - he's called the bout off! Takamura is your winner!

Apollo Takamura tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
