Rosewater closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Laffite quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laffite tries to hold on but Rosewater postures up.
Rosewater cracks Laffite with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Laffite wants to control but Rosewater is having none of it.

Rosewater lands a couple of good shots and Laffite has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
