Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corey Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tolek Banan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Twilight of the Thunder God - Amon Amarth. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Smith throws a hook but Banan blocks it.
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Banan.
Banan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith.
Banan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf.
Banan misses with a straight left.
Smith misses with a two punch combination.
Banan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Banan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Smith in his tracks.

It looks like Corey Smith has been cut.

Banan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Banan throws a lazy right hand but Smith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Banan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.

Banan connects with a looping right hand.
Banan lands a lovely overhand right.

Smith is rocked!
Banan is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Smith flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Smith is out cold! Banan holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
