The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sewing looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alexander keeps the fight on the outside.
The fighters circling - Sewing throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sewing misses with a wild combination.
Alexander avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sewing wants to clinch but Alexander slips to the side
and Alexander counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sewing tries to clinch there but Alexander circles away.
Alexander misses with a hook. Sewing ducked under it nicely.
Alexander lands a nice looking body shot.
Sewing moves in looking to clinch but Alexander pushes him off.
Sewing falls off balance throwing a combination
and Alexander counters with a stiff right hand.
Sewing tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sewing tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alexander swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Alexander manages to break the clinch.
Alexander misses the jab.
Sewing darts in trying to clinch
and Alexander counters with a left and a right that stings Sewing.
Sewing wants to clinch but Alexander slips to the side
and Alexander counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sewing will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sewing lands with a nice combination. Alexander backs away looking to recover.
Sewing closes the distance but Alexander moves to the side
and Alexander counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sewing tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alexander manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Alexander. Sewing does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sewing wants to clinch up but Alexander keeps it at a distance.
Alexander wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Alexander takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sewing tries to clinch but Alexander moves out of range.
Alexander connects with a crisp jab.
Sewing tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alexander manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sewing tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Alexander counters with a series of strikes. Sewing will be more careful next time no doubt.

Sewing is rocked!

Sewing glances at the clock... BAM! Alexander nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Sewing crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Sewing is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
