Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isiah Acer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barron comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Satani. Acer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mad at Gravity- Burn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Isiah Acer has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acer connects with a looping right hand.
Acer throws a good cross that connects.
Barron throws out a leg kick but Acer moves out of range and Barron only half commits.
Acer misses with a wild body shot.
Acer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Barron is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Acer swings for the body but Barron moves out of range.
Barron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Barron rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Acer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Acer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barron.
Acer lands a jab to Barron's midsection.
Barron shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Acer misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Barron counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Acer thinking.
Barron throws a solid leg kick but Acer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Barron.
Barron clobbers Acer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Acer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Acer cracks Barron with an elbow. That is naaassty.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barron is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Acer lands a big shot there that rocks Barron but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Acer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Acer misses with a takedown attempt - Barron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Acer shoots in looking for a takedown. Barron tries to sprawl out of it but Acer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barron manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barron misses with a low kick as Acer jumps back.
Barron throws a right and a left that Acer avoids nicely.
Acer just misses with a punch to the body.
Barron scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A head kick by Acer misses
and Barron finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Barron fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Acer checks it well.
Acer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barron looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barron takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Acer lands with a right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barron misses with a head kick.

Acer connects with a single shot there.
Acer moves away from the strike by Barron.
Acer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barron can pounce on him.
Acer shoots in but Barron avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Colin Barron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isiah Acer.
Acer digs a good body shot into Barron's ribs.
Isiah Acer seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Acer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Barron throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Acer.
A solid leg kick lands there for Barron.

Barron gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Acer to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Acer is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Barron has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Isiah Acer has got the better of the ground game so far.

A relieved looking Isiah Acer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
