The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beirne swings for the body but Petasse moves out of range.
Petasse throws a front kick that sends Beirne stumbling back into the cage.
Petasse delivers a nice body kick.
Petasse works Beirne's body with a nice hook.
Beirne is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Beirne on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Petasse. Petasse obviously looking to wear him down.
Petasse throws a head kick but Beirne moves out of range.
Petasse throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Petasse moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Petasse with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Beirne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Antoine Petasse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petasse tries to bum rush Beirne with a series of wild strikes but Beirne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beirne tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Petasse scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Petasse. Beirne shrugs it off though.

Petasse cracks Beirne with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Petasse has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Beirne to stand back up!

It looks like Delphinus Beirne has been cut.
Petasse circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Beirne tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Petasse wins by KO!
