Shafiq shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and The Shark counters with a body kick that stops Shafiq in his tracks momentarily.
Shafiq shoots in but The Shark avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The Shark lands a big head kick that sends Shafiq tumbling to the mat! The Shark takes a step backwards and waves Shafiq back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Shafiq is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The Shark has closed the distance and engaged Shafiq in a clinch.

The Shark breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
