Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lue Goose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakon Hakonda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakonda has chosen Satyricon - Mather North as his entrance music. Lue Goose has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goose swats away the attempt to clinch by Hakonda.
Hakonda doesn't manage to clinch there - Goose circles away.
Goose shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hakonda as he avoids it easily.
Hakonda throws a body kick that misses.
Hakonda wants to clinch but Goose slips to the side

and Goose counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hakonda!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hakonda is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Goose wants to control but Hakonda is keeping him busy.

Goose goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hakonda rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Goose's guard! Nice work there by Hakonda!

We've been hearing that Goose has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Goose looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hakonda is squirming around, avoiding Goose's attempts to control the action.

It looks like Hakon Hakonda has been cut.

Goose swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hakonda is now in Goose's guard. A big mistake from Goose there, giving up the dominant position!

Goose has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hakonda should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Goose has tightened it up now! Hakonda should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
