Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Granger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Bawsoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, James Granger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Bawsoot!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granger fails with the takedown
and Bawsoot counters with a straight right hand.

so Bawsoot counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Granger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bawsoot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Granger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Granger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that James Granger will probably get the nod.

Well Bawsoot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
