The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhirkov misses with an uppercut. Weis saw that one coming.
Weis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Zhirkov!
Weis fails to move to back control.
Zhirkov tries to hold on but Weis pushes him away.
Zhirkov looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Weis has the hooks in. Zhirkov is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Zhirkov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Weis wants to control but Zhirkov is keeping busy.
Zhirkov is trying to defend against the choke here but Weis has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Weis Tightens the hold and Zhirkov taps out furiously! Weis displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
