The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Axe.
Stanford gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Axe.
Axe gets a takedown into half guard.
Axe working Stanford over with strikes.
Axe is looking to advance position but Stanford won't allow it.
Stanford avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Axe.
Stanford trying to hold on to Axe's head to control him but Axe postures up.
Axe wants to stand up but Stanford is controlling the position.
Stanford has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Axe. Oh but Stanford has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Axe goes limp - he's gone! Stanford jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
