Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Feilo Meloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meloy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hypocrisy - Apocalypse. Savage has chosen Bon Jovi - It's my life as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Savage!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meloy cracks Savage with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Savage has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Savage shoots for a double leg takedown but Meloy sprawls well. He's pushed Savage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Savage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Meloy tries to avoid it but Savage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Meloy to the ground. Meloy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Meloy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Savage on the side of the head.

It looks like Jackson Savage has been cut.
Savage tries to close the distance and clinch but Meloy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Meloy jabs Savage to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Savage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Savage darts in looking for a takedown but Meloy gets double underhooks and turns Savage into the cage.
Feilo Meloy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Savage.
Meloy lands with a light punch inside.

Savage jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Meloy walks away with a smile on his face. Savage gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Savage shoots in looking for a takedown but Meloy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Savage's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Savage lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
We've been hearing reports that Meloy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Savage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Meloy is fending him off so far but Savage persists. Nope, Meloy circles away and we're back to standing.

Savage shoots in for a takedown but Meloy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Meloy. Savage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Meloy throws a nice looking combination but Savage bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Meloy clobbers Savage with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Savage has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Meloy.
Savage closes the distance and clinches up with Meloy, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes Meloy against the cage but Meloy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Savage tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Meloy defends well and Savage ends up having to push Meloy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Savage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Meloy.

Meloy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Savage.
Savage is trying desperately to land a takedown but Meloy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Savage.

Savage dives in for a single leg takedown but Meloy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
