Rourke comes to the cage accompanied by Rolling Stones - Paint it black. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Twister throws the left hand but Rourke avoids the punch easily.
Rourke ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Twister chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rourke can pounce on him.
Rourke turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Twister sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rourke connects with a solid leg kick.
Rourke lands a jab to Twister's midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rourke shoots in but Twister avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Twister ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Twister throws a nice looking combination but Rourke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rourke lets loose with a powerful body kick. Twister will feel that in the morning.

Rourke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Twister shoots in and drives through. Rourke sprawls well.
Twister thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rourke lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rourke thuds his right hand into Twister's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Rourke buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Rourke feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Twisters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've been told by Rourke's head coaches at Australian Xtreme Elite Stand Up Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rourke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Twister was well out of range. Poor timing from Rourke.

Rourke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Twister has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rourke, as that shot connected.
Rourke slaps away a takedown attempt from Twister, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rourke fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Twister square on the jaw! Damn, Twister is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
