Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JD Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Symptom of the Universe - by Sepultura. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silver fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Silver gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hopkins content to stall in guard here.
Silver is wriggling around but Hopkins manages to pass to half guard.
Silver looks winded!
Hopkins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Silver has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Combat Sports Training Center. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Hopkins works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hopkins connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Hopkins lands a big elbow.
Silver is still in real trouble! Can Hopkins finish him?
Hopkins postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Silver out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hopkins goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
