The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olynyk pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Olynyk leaves Mars with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Olynyk throws out a leg kick but Mars moves out of range and Olynyk only half commits.
Olynyk takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Vincent Mars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olynyk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mars sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mars looks winded!
Olynyk throws a solid leg kick but Mars takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Olynyk.
Mars throws a lazy right hand but Olynyk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Olynyk looks to land a right hand but Mars moved out of range.
That kick from Olynyk tenderised Mars's leg. Mars is trying to keep his angry face on.

Olynyk fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mars.

Olynyk lands a leg kick that knocks Mars off balance momentarily.

Olynyk closes the distance and pushes Mars back into the cage.

Olynyk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mars lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Olynyk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mars manages to avoid it.

Olynyk feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mars sprawling to the canvas! Mars rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Olynyk finish him?!

Mars is rocked!

That has opened up Vincent Mars's cut even more.

Olynyk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mars.
Mars walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Olynyk swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
