Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Canedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canedo has chosen NFG - Dressed to Kill (You) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eugene Canedo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canedo slips a straight right by Wallace.
Wallace takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Canedo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Eugene Canedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wallace does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Canedo throws a series of punches but Wallace moves out of range.
Canedo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wallace manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Canedo moves into range and clinches up with Wallace.

Wallace has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Canedo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've been hearing reports that Wallace has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Oh Wallace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Canedo creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wallace with a big uppercut! Wallace tries to clinch up but Canedo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wallace to the mat! Wallace covers up and Canedo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eugene Canedo!
A relieved looking Eugene Canedo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
