Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ab Soul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Marion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soul shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Soul finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Marion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Soul.
Marion slaps away a takedown attempt from Soul, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ab Soul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Soul.
Soul gets tackled into the cage by Marion. Marion maintains the clinch.
Soul blocks an uppercut.
Marion misses with a short punch on the inside.
Marion just leaning against Soul, taking a breather.

Marion receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Marion lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Soul backwards.
Soul misses with a punch on the inside.
Marion tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Soul with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Marion throws a head punch that misses.
Marion struggles to land a body shot inside as Soul controls his hands.

Marion tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Soul is trying to pull guard but Marion has him pressed against the cage.
Marion throws a punch but it's blocked by Soul.
Marion misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Soul tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marion smiles and moves away.
Marion fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ab Soul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Soul misses with a head kick.
Marion clinches.
Soul jumps guard but Marion turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Soul trying to stall but Marion improves his position.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Marion throws a head punch that misses.
Soul blocks a body shot from Marion.
Marion has a couple of punches blocked by Soul.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Soul blocks an uppercut.
Marion working aggressively here.
Soul jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marion walks away with a smile on his face. Soul gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Soul throws a head kick that misses.
Soul tries for a takedown but Marion sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Soul drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Marion keeping moving, preventing Soul from controlling successfully.
Soul pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marion is keeping the position for now.
Soul could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Soul passes Marion's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Soul uses his free foot to push down on Marion's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Marion.
Soul thowing shots but they're missing.
Marion defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Soul.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marion is wriggling around trying to escape.
Soul throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Marion because Soul loaded up on that one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marion tries to hold on but Soul postures up.
Soul looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ab Soul dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Soul fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Marion moves in looking to clinch but Soul pushes him off.
Soul looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Marion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Soul. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marion not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Soul forces his way into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marion wants to control but Soul is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Soul lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Soul is looking to take a break and control but Marion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Soul moves into full mount! Marion won't be happy about that!
Soul is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Marion to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Marion shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Soul wants to control the pace but Marion is squirming around nicely.
Soul looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marion is looking to improve his position but Soul isn't that keen on the idea.
Soul looking to secure an arm triangle but Marion defends it well.
Soul working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Marion looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Soul! Submission of the night perhaps?
