Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Hinch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gump might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fucking Hostile - Pantera. Bubba Gump has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hinch rushes Gump and presses him up against the cage.
Hinch tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gump tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hinch with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Bubba Gump has been cut.
Gump has a couple of punches blocked by Hinch.
Hinch is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gump is defending well for now.
Gump tries to break free but Hinch pushes him back against the cage.

Gump's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hinch instigates a clinch.
Hinch tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Hinch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Gump throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hinch closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gump did well to prevent Hinch getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hinch wants to control but Gump is keeping him busy.

Gump is defending against the submission attempts here by Hinch.

Gump has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hinch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gump defends it well.

Gump is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hinch has his hands clasped together but Gump extends and breaks Hinch's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gump.
